Laietània — Origenic | AI Historical Wine Spot

What it is
A 60-second historical recreation. A present-day diver finds a Roman amphora off the Catalan coast, and a match cut takes us back to the 1st century BC, when Laietanian wine from Baetulo travelled to Rome. Catalan voice-over throughout, ending on a wine label.
The challenge
Recreating a Roman world that no camera ever saw, believably: underwater light and diving gear accurate to the last hose, period wardrobe, amphorae and landscapes, and keeping it all consistent across two eras joined by one cut.
Who it's for
Wineries, cava houses, heritage brands, museums and tourism boards that want to tell where they come from in a way that feels like cinema, not a slideshow.

For years I worked as a traditional film and video producer in Seattle and Barcelona: shoots, editing and production. I've followed the rise of generative AI closely for five years, and in 2024 I decided to give it my full attention. Since then I've worked with brands across very different sectors, and that experience led me to build my own method: an alternative where every shot is reviewed with the same care as on a real set.

Frequently asked questions.

How much does a project cost?
It depends on the scope: length, number of pieces, formats and complexity. We don't work from a fixed price list. Send us your brief and we'll put together a tailored proposal.
How long does a project take?
Most projects take 3 to 6 weeks from brief approval to delivery, depending on scope. Smaller pieces can move faster.
What does the process look like?
Brief and proposal, creative direction (moodboard, script, storyboard), previsualization, production and postproduction (edit, sound, color). You review and approve every stage, with rounds of changes agreed upfront, and you work directly with our Generative Director from start to finish.
Is the quality comparable to a traditional production?
It's the standard we work to. Every piece is directed, edited, sound-designed and color-graded, then delivered in the formats you need, from vertical for social to 4K. You can see examples in our work, and we can share a private reel with projects we can't show publicly.
Do you shoot with cameras?
No. Everything we create is generated and finished with AI. If you already have footage, we can build on it: new environments, VFX, extensions, restoration and versions.
Can we use the final piece commercially?
Yes. You receive the final files with the usage rights agreed in the contract: media, territories and duration. We only use tools whose licenses allow commercial use, and we document how each piece was made.
Does AI-generated content need to be labeled?
Under the EU AI Act, since August 2026, realistic AI-generated content that could pass as real must be disclosed as such. We'll tell you when a piece needs it and how to do it without stealing the spotlight.
Is our material confidential?
Yes. We sign NDAs when needed, keep briefs and unreleased products private, and set up our tools so your material isn't used to train AI models, whenever the tool allows it.
Where are you based? Do you work outside Barcelona?
We're based in Barcelona and work with brands across Catalonia, Spain and Europe, and remotely with clients anywhere. We work in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. We can produce complete pieces as your production partner, credited or white-label, or join your team for specific parts of a project: generation, VFX, previsualization or finishing.
